I hope you feel like the ungrateful jerk you really are, Ford. You selfish, hypocritical, arrogant, prideful, egotistical prick.
Stan gave you everything, and you never appreciated it. You wasted your life clinging to a grudge that you should’ve moved on from years ago. Not only that, you doubled down on your conviction, driving the wedge not just between you and your brother, but also between Dipper and Mabel.
Way to be the hero you always dreamed of being, Ford. Your inability/refusal to see outside of yourself damaged your family and nearly doomed the entire world. Every single time it was most important for you to set aside your own feelings for your family, you squandered it each and every single time.
You don’t deserve Stan’s generosity.
You don’t deserve Mabel’s kindness.
You don’t deserve Dipper’s companionship.
All you ever think of is yourself. Despite having good intentions, you became just like the very monster you swore to destroy. And only by having to lose your brother again - after an incident YOU caused - do you finally realize what’s really important to you.
Stan deserved a better brother. Dipper and Mabel deserved a better long-lost Great Uncle. They were better off without you.
By your own actions, you lost the right to be part of the Pines Family. You lost the right to be a part of ANY family with your near-unbearable hubris and petty ego. Live with your guilt, Ford.
